We are recruiting a Senior Researcher in AI for Health

Within the ENDOMIC-AI project, we are preparing the recruitment of a senior researcher through a Junior Professor Chair (CPJ) at the Inria Centre at the University of Lille.

This chair will focus on developing new artificial intelligence approaches to improve our understanding of chronic inflammatory diseases and support more personalised medicine. Our goal is to identify robust patient profiles - or endotypes - using heterogeneous, multimodal and longitudinal health data, including clinical and biological data, imaging, omics data and electronic health records.

We are looking for a researcher with expertise in multimodal AI, statistical learning or applied mathematics, with a strong interest in explainable, robust, generalisable and fair AI methods. The successful candidate will join a highly interdisciplinary environment bringing together Inria, the University of Lille, Lille University Hospital and Inserm, particularly through the ENDOMIC initiative and its access to health-data infrastructures, biobanks, omics platforms and imaging facilities.

Beyond research, the chair holder will contribute to training in digital health at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, medicine and biology. We also expect the recruited researcher to help strengthen national and international collaborations, promote open science, and support the dissemination of research outcomes to the scientific community, healthcare professionals, patients and the wider public.
